More than 5,000 homeless people die every year on the streets of America. Many because they lack basic supplies like food, shelter and warm clothes.  Hunger is not confined to the homeless population, small pockets of society, certain areas of the country, or certain neighborhoods in your community, the reality is much different. For many people hunger is a DAILY reality.

It helps us to create media events that bring attention to the challenges our homeless friends face every day. Unfortunately the single mom living on the streets with her baby in the video below are not uncommon. Luckily, after we posted this video we were able to secure her a place to stay for the night and some food for her and her baby.
